Love this film to mark the end of coal in the UK. I live near a former coal-fired power station and though I miss the towers as a landmark I'm pleased to see an end to burning coal.

Love this clip from the wonderful landscape architect Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe. Note that he said it was fanciful, for the future and that his aim is for the public not to interact with vehicles - for him the Utopia was a town that was car-free at street level. @talklandscape.
#OnThisDay 1959: Motopia is to be a town of the future. Its groundbreaking plan for elevated roads and neighbourhood hubs will revolutionise urban living. It will be near Staines.

Last night Planit attended #CEYH2023 for our nominated David Oluwale Bridge project. Working with @LeedsCC_News BAM Nuttall and @MottMacDonald the bridge plays a key role in the regeneration of the #Leeds Southbank. Congratulations all involved on the Highly Commended Award.
