#CityRPU are out this morning as the @PoliceChiefs national #Fatal4 campaign continues. We're targeting the drivers who cause serious risk to other road users. This car was found to be in dangerous condition, uninsured, and the driver was texting as he drove past patrol officers.

Officers were on #OPTramline patrols on the M6 in Birmingham when they saw the driver of this vehicle,rolling a cannabis joint,with no hands on the steering wheel. When stopped, a roadside drugs test was conducted and was positive for cocaine and cannabis.Driver arrested #fatal4

This one stopped by #GMPMotorcycleUnit due to not having any L plates. Not always an issue but on this occasion the officers suspicion was correct. Turned out the rider had completed a CBT, but way back in 2018 and never renewed it. Bike seized and rider reported. #fatal4

These cars were seen to be racing and driving carelessly on the A11 last week. Both vehicles were stopped and the Mercedes driver failed a drug wipe ❌ The Audi driver was issued S59 warning 10 days ago, so the vehicle was also seized. A double whammy of #Fatal4 offences 🚨

Tickets were issued to these drivers in Norwich for using their mobile phone behind the wheel yesterday. Sadly a total of 16 drivers were caught doing exactly the same thing in just 90 minutes. Using your phone behind the wheel puts lives at risk - don't do it. #Fatal4
