I’ve been super productive with this stack:. - Expo 52: new architecture & streaming support. - AI SDK: supports multiple AI service providers via an unified interface. - Supabase: auth, posgresql with great sdk support. - WatermelonDB for local-first + cloud sync

Pretty happy with the overall performance and sync behavior in Share My Stack now. Video shows a real-world scenario, not localhost. Made with #Expo, #WatermelonDB, and #Supabase. I'll publish a blog post on how to sync a local WatermelonDB to Postgres on Supabase via RPC soon.

Make your React native app offline-first with WatermelonDB + SQLite. - local reads/writes, then auto-sync when online.- Seamless UX in spotty networks

⚡️🔄 WatermelonDB Sync + WebSocket-based server push, coming soon to @nozbe. In the demo, you have 2 devices, each with full copy of user data (offline first!), getting synced within fraction of the second. This isn't optimized in any way. Goes through 2 standard 🍉 sync cycles

The local-first / sync engine ecosystem is far bigger than I realized. There are DBs / BAAS providers that provide real-time sync like Supabase, Firestore, Convex, Fireproof, and PouchDB. There are peer-to-peer DBs like OrbitDB, and DefraDB. There are sync engines like Zero,.

Fast JSON parsing in C++: simdjson v3.8.0 brings in better support for big integers. The library is used by Meta Velox, the Node.js runtime, ClickHouse, WatermelonDB, Apache Doris, Milvus, StarRocks. .

What are my options when building an offline first React Native app with Supabase?. So far have looked at: Zero sync ElectricSQL, and WatermelonDB. Curious to hear about experiences and if there are any other options I’ve missed.

Набрел на проект WatermelonDB, это реактивная база данных для react приложеий, выглядит интересно, почти то что мне нужно в личном проекте. Разве что интеграция с react не такая красивая как хотелось бы.

Started working on Habit Hero.I am using WaterMelonDB this time. The documentation is not that good but I made it finally!. This opens up so many possibilities!.I am curious how am I going to build the logic behind occurrences, streaks and repetition!. Exited to #buildinpublic
