Singapore to Bangkok: ~2000km, 110 USD return.Kigali to Nairobi: ~1200km, 350 USD return. Guessing passenger volume / tax causes the difference but not sure.

Anecdotally, I'm told whether you get 1/2 years depends you're on track to $15k USD / year revenue or have shown upfront capital commitment to the country.

Finally renewed Rwandan visa after an initial rejection 2 months ago. Didn't have recorded local revenue then. Visa validity is:. 1. 6 months on first successful application (need to show local revenue). 2. For 1 or 2 years on renewal*.

An avocado in hand is worth a few in the tree. An avocado costs about . - 35 cents (USD) in a Rwandan supermarket .- 65 cents in a Carrefour in Dubai.- $2 in a Singapore supermarket. Bulk of the cost is freight, fixed costs are negligible if you ship 1 ton or so.

Was told to tweet more about avocados. C20 refers to carbon isotope and also an avocado size grade. It indicates the number of avocados in a given carton. C20, C22 and C24 are common export varieties. Thank you for listening to my TED talk.

University courses were taught entirely in Java with the premise that it was a widely used enterprise programming language. Finding truth in this here, where Spring Boot and Oracle are not uncommon. Probably is back home too, just never noticed.
