ブラウザ用にAudioWorkletとScriptProcessorNode両対応のプレイヤーを作って検証中。トラブルの元になるのでSharedArrayBufferは不使用で。 ChromeはギリギリOKそうですが、Safariの方は出力デバイスを切り替えると音が正常に出なくなるため本番適用はちと難しそうです。

I'm getting pretty excited at the state of WebAssembly now. This is not a native app, but running on iOS Safari (screencap on the same phone, no special feature flags). My first multithread too! Separate rendering and audio workers, oscilloscope data via SharedArrayBuffer.

リメイク開発中の投稿サイト。 GodotPlayerとは概ね機能が一緒なんですけど、SharedArrayBuffer supportをどうしても切りたい、ので多分リメイクする感じで出すかもです。 技術的にできそうならプロジェクトのノード階層とかシグナルの可視化、GDScriptの表示しようと思うんだけど、需要あるかなあ。

ウェブ開発、アプリ作っているときには、CORSとか制限厳しすぎだろ。SharedArrayBufferとかAtomicぐらい自由に触らせろと思う一方、セキュリティ守る立場になると、いろいろ過去のしがらみとはいえ、守りが甘すぎて大丈夫か?っていう気持ちになる感じがある。どちらの立場でも辛い。

I'm reading the @MultithreadedJS book by @bryanenglish and @tlhunter, and part of it include implemented a version of John Conway's Game of Life with Web Workers using a SharedArrayBuffer instead of message passing. Enjoying this book a lot!

js lets you drop down very low for performance (if you want). look into ArrayBuffer, SharedArrayBuffer, and Atomics if you don't believe me. slog https://t.co/ArxhLQBJTF makes heavy use of ArrayBuffer to cache dates and serialize objects for maximum performance.
