World of Warcraft Classic released five years ago today. As part of the dev team that brought the original game back seeing the amazing response and working with the incredible people on the team was one of the best experiences Iโve had in gamedev. And yes, #nochanges !

I was #nochanges because I wanted Classic to be what the most passionate advocates wanted it to be, and that seemed to be as pristine a recreation as possible. And I think it was right to do that at first, so that we could move on and evolve the game into something like SoD

The Asmongold situation is a perfect example of why it's important to take accountability and criticism. A lot of people don't bother with self-reflection and decide to double down, and it's a good sign he didn't do that. If you dont own your mistakes they will own you.
