TIL (because letsencrypt now supports it in "staging") you can technically get a certificate for an IP address. Super weird. You can check the cert (and I can't believe I'm typing this. ) https://54.177.55.33. You'll get a certificate warning since it's just in staging for now

It took @letsencrypt more than 6 hours to figure out that it was the DNS, why wasn't that the first idea

🔐 The page for the "Subscribe" button of @beinsports_FR is served with a wildcard certificate that expired 2 days ago → Likely translates into missing sales 💸. Nobody is on pager duty… But nobody should!.@letsencrypt paved the way of automated #ssl certificates renewal!

We are on @aws, so getting certificate was easy n click away using acm. But few servers are deployed in less known cloud server. And using @letsencrypt helped to save tons of dollar and headache wrt ssl cert.#saas #buildinpublic.

I discovered you can turn on SSL on a website with a simple switch on cloudflare. But I couldn't leave it alone. depending on someone else's infrastructure. So I made it work with @letsencrypt. Awesome!.
