79 years ago today, we aired our very 1st broadcast, &it featured Bob Hope. He called it KTL instead of KTLA. The inaugural telecast was broadcast from the Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood, making us the 1st commercial licensed TV station West of the Mississippi.
