My #FallingBlockJam game has some basic gameplay now! Click and drag to select 2 neighbor jellies to have them (attempt to) swap places. Connect a chain from left <--> right edge to clear.

Doesn't look like much but this means I have figured out custom dynamic meshes + basic shaders in Raylib for my #FallingBlockJam entry :)

My #fallingblockjam game “Jelly Well” is now focused on fighting off an octagonal intruder (boss). Jam ends Sunday so I just need to add SFX, music, menus, VFX 😅

My #FallingBlockJam entry is now called “Jelly Well” and I’ve made a ton of progress, and I think I have a plan for the remaining gameplay 🤔

The #FallingBlockJam is over and I'm happy with my game "Jelly Well" It's sort of a Puyo Puyo-like but with soft body physics (of course) and centered around... fighting off intruding octagons with mustaches 🤣

Due to the amount of people participating in #FallingBlockJam, there's a shortage of blocks, so you're gonna have to make them yourself. #pico8

Pretty solid progress on "Jelly Well" for the #FallingBlockJam today: functional menus, input improvements, physics tweaks, boss phase adjustments, the ability to actually restart the game, and I got it running in the browser! tomorrow: audio!
