Yessssss, yesssssss, MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA come my children. Come learn React before you learn JavaScript so that you can NEVER LEAVE the React Side. Learn that createRef is the only way to create a variable! Learn that there is not a simpler way to do anything. WMWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

In #typescript there's a gap between seeing an error and understanding the correct fix. I don't know how people can bridge the gap without lots of googling. To fix an issue like this, you have to change . webview = React.createRef();. to . webview = React.createRef<WebView>();

React's 16.3's `createRef` is so useful that @clearwater_rb has had it (as `DOMReference`) for a few years now.
