I'm absolutely loving this book by @craigmod. It's filling me with this deep sadness knowing it will end and also delight as I slowly work my way through it, feeling in every page that he channeled something magical and beautiful, in a way most other books fail to offer

My favorite writers @phokarlsson's and @craigmod's unusual lives are why their ideas stick in my mind. Maybe we all should try to be a bit more like them – and do the weirdest thing that feels right?. (link in next tweet)

Fascinating Radio New Zealand interview today with @craigmod, a photographer, writer, and pizza toast enthusiast living in Japan (like me!). His new book explores a walk along the 300-mile Kumano Kodō (熊野古道). Deets → Listen ↓. 🇳🇿 🇯🇵🚶♂️📚

☕️. The best writing verbalises thoughts bubbling in people’s heads, that they haven’t yet found the vocabulary for. In that vein, here are some prolific ones I enjoy:. @phokarlsson .@anuatluru .@commoncog.@drgurner.@craigmod

New book about old school Japanese cafes by @craigmod and Imai-san has arrived. Craig is one of the few people I know who loves classic Showa-era cafes (kissa) as much as I do. He’s also effortlessly classy in everything he makes. Check out the English version.
