@CountryDay Honors Geometry worked through the "Playful Polygons" activity from @csandmath during our #HourOfCode. Students used Geometry knowledge to write code and draw shapes in @scratch. They had fun sharing what they created! @daperfecttablet @COMPUDUCATION @jgweinheimer

One of the best math coding sessions I've ever experienced! I'm pumped to keep exploring. Thanks @ATewes3 and @BoundsofoutMath. #NCTMAnnual #csandmath

Stoked that I went to the sense-making math meets career-ready coding session using @csandmath with @ashleyanntewes at #TIES18 the day before I start my geometry unit.

Teaching #geometry this year and needing your help #mtbos ! What characters would your high school students think were cooler than a ghost and a dinosaur in this angle #coding coding activity? #iteachmath #CSandMath #STEAM

Once again, I found myself sifting through some great #Scratch programs by @drew_wheels ! Remixed his "Stretching and Shrinking" concept by applying transformation functions to them in geometry :) Kids could do this to their own coordinate artwork! #mtbos #STEAM #CSandMath

Made me a little pyramid thanks to @ATewes3 and @BoundsofoutMath. I want to try a sphere next but I'll have to think about how to code that one a bit longer. You can check out their resources here: https://t.co/pjr5aAI1iu #csandmath #NCTMAnnnual

New game this unit: Snapchat Streak! I will give the Ss a specific 2D or 3D object. Students must snap a pic of a real life object in that shape and include their bitmoji before midnight to keep their streak going! #gamification #CSandMath #MTBoS #computationalthinking

As we enter 2nd semester, if you have a free hour and teach #geometry topics, consider watching our recent webinar from @GlobalMathDept on ideas for integrating programming into your student experience. #mtbos #iteachmath #CSandMath #STEM #csforall https://t.co/U7ir6U1qmE

Took a day to play in @scratch after we ended a unit and before spring breaking. Had my Geometry class create a Midpoint Finder and added a little pizazz to it! Here is the work of one of my students: #mathwithcode #coding @TheRoyalHS @SimiCodeSquad @mrosvhs @csandmath
