Looks like the #Border6Fire woke up this afternoon, still on the south side of the U.S.-Mexico border.

.@calfiresandiego is at scene of a vegetation fire along the international border approximately 1 mile east of the Otay Port of Entry. The fire has burned about 2 acres on the Ca. side and is not currently threatening any homes or infrastructure north of the border. #Border6Fire

We are now also tracking the #Border6Fire also in @CALFIRESANDIEGO near Campo Road in Campo, units are en route, and smoke is showing.

She gone... The team at California Wildfire Tracking is monitoring a new start in Mexico. This is the #Border6Fire, which is burning primarily in Mexico with extension into the U.S.A. We will be closely monitoring this incident for the coming hours.

#Border6Fire in Campo [update] Fire is now 200 acres burning on the south side of the U.S./Mexico border. We remain engaged on the northern edge of the fire as firefighters from Mexico support suppression efforts in Mexico.

#Border6Fire [Update] There is very minimal fire activity this morning and the fire remains south of the international border at around 200 acres. CAL FIRE/San Diego County Fire will continue to monitor the fire throughout the day.
