Learning @rustlang in my free time and ported a Lempel-Ziv-Welch (LZW) decoder to WebAssembly over the long weekend. LZW is the default lossless compression algorithm used by @bioformats #raw2ometiff. Here is the decoder action in Viv:

It's just not convenient from a users perspective, as you have to install importers and exporters individually. I'm suggesting: a central distribution and conventions / community guidelines for collecting importers/exporters would be nice 😉
