6/ That's why we started Fabric. To build a a new kind of programmable cryptography-native chip that vastly improves the speed and cost of programmable cryptography -- the Verifiable Processing Unit (VPU).

5/ So why didn't our critical systems leverage this cryptography already? . We realized that, the speed, cost & programmability of existing hardware for these new algorithms prevented widespread adoption. And processors didn't exist for the math cryptography uses: number theory.
