My observations about media since 2015: - If you’re B2C, you’re in the hits business. If you’re in B2B, you’re in the insights business. - Advertising is a bad business model unless you’re a platform. But it’s a necessary business model to prevent information inequality. -

Advice to my younger self: Networking is dead. You don’t get anywhere by accumulating thousands of transactional connections. You get somewhere by building genuine relationships. Create value with no end in mind—the best people will come. Stop networking, start building.

Fast iteration requires far less self flagellation about what just happened I think we are sometimes truly damaged by the shame and anxiety of possibly doing poorly in school. Those are slow and fixed zero sum iterations. Real life means failure is paired with learning.
