Nah, this is academic elitism. Requiring a seminar degree would disqualify 90% of pastors, especially in the global south.
Dear Christian, Unless you're in seminary preparing for the pastorate or some other ecclesiastical service, it's highly unlikely that God is calling you to quit your six-figure job, by which you support your family. He almost certainly isn't calling you to "start a ministry."
