When you think about it, pecan pie is pretty healthy. I mean it’s basically pecans.

My daughter just asked “dad, why do people get fake Christmas trees?” Had to tell her the truth. “Because they hate Christmas, honey.”

Reading through “Just Show Up” by @drewdyck . Loved this quote on p.118. Thank you Drew for this timely book. I’ve seen over and over again that the areas where people struggle are often the same things God uses in them to serve others.

The second episode of Awkward Christian Questions looks at what to do when you disagree w/ your church on a secondary theological issue. Found this taxonomy of doctrines from @TL_Miles super helpful.

I'm sick of those people who knock on your door and tell you how you need to be "saved" or you'll "burn." Stupid firefighters.

A gripping blend of military science fiction and political thriller, Whispers of Power unearths the origins of war’s masterminds. Before war consumes the galaxy, Marcus and Johnny fought a different war—one of strategy, betrayal, and impossible choices.

Nah, this is academic elitism. Requiring a seminar degree would disqualify 90% of pastors, especially in the global south.

Dear Christian, Unless you're in seminary preparing for the pastorate or some other ecclesiastical service, it's highly unlikely that God is calling you to quit your six-figure job, by which you support your family. He almost certainly isn't calling you to "start a ministry."
