Just finished watching this. Fantastic discussion about a the benefits (and logistic pitfalls) of seeking a directory of worship as well as about the administration of communion. Well worth the half hour.

Mission Impossible Rankings:.MI6: Fallout.MI4: Ghost Protocol.MI5: Rogue Nation.Tie: MI7: Dead Reckoning and MI (the original) .MI3.MI2. I thought MI7 was enjoyable with some great action scenes, but it had a little less heart than the past few.

Some months later, I stand by this assessment: "Everything Everywhere" is brilliantly creative but ultimately (thematically) incoherent.
Finally saw "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once." An extraordinary, creative work of art. As I reflect upon my response to it, I find myself both impressed and yet somewhat dissatisfied. (Reflections include spoilers).

I'm still processing this film and would welcome other interpretations. That the movie provokes this analysis is a sign of its effectiveness. In a world of copycat films, I'm grateful for its audacious creativity. (/end).

If the film had pulled more on that thread, it could have used it to subvert the starting point of the film and at least question the initial idea that this world is truly meaningless. But as it stands, I don't think the film's premises ultimately hold together.
