Been reading @ScottKirsner's new book "Innovation Economy" - it dives into what makes the New England ecosystem tick, from robotics to vaccines to sneakers. A lot of history, but also the future.

If you are a founder, CEO, or senior leader of a business in Mass., would you take a moment to fill out a 3-min survey for a piece @scottKirsner is developing? Thx https://t.co/0M9IHvnm1v

An essay for my parents, and for everyone out there who's grieving. I'm overwhelmed by all the support and personal stories people have shared with me - thank you.

The news is all about reopening the economy. But for all of us who are grieving, it’s personal too.

Save lives or save the economy? Fundamental question, but also a false choice - there's a middle ground in reopening. https://t.co/I782veCrd3 @leung @GlobeNewsEd

Some scientists and economists are arguing there is a middle ground, albeit one that requires parts of the population to remain in quarantine.

Will the pandemic amount to a blip in the decades-long rebound of urban life, or mark the end of an era?

Emptied out restaurants. Walking tours cancelled. Hotel workers wondering how they’ll pay their rent. Boston’s healthy economy is at risk as coronavirus fears spread. My story with @bytimlogan

This version includes South Korea. They were on the same growth curve til 7 days ago - ahead of Italy. The measures they adopted then (subject to the lead time in measurements) seem effective - still exponential growth, but similar doubling period to Japan now.

Wondering what you can do to help slow the spread of the #coronavirus? Here's a handy list of recommendations from infectious disease experts, compiled by @DDpan (note: hoarding toilet paper is not on the list!) https://t.co/9ayi52jgSf
