Currently, women make up only 1 in 10 Interventional Radiology Consultants in the UK. IRJ would like to address this by sharing with you some experiences of inspiring female IRs! We start the series with Dr Elika Kashef @grounds4riots

Dr Elika Kashef undertook her radiology training at HHNT Trusts and completed an IR fellowship from 2008-2010 at St Mary's Hospital. She then became a consultant IR and the lead for trauma radiology at Imperial College NHS Trust in 2011.
