I received the most amazing leaving gift from two of my Year 11’s this year! The sheer amount of thoughtfulness behind this is staggering. I am so proud to add David Attenborough’s personalised and signed photo to my classroom. I’m not crying, YOU’RE CRYING!😩

Messy staffroom? If staff only have 15 mins to get to the staffroom, eat their lunch & go to the toilet, then they are very likely to dump & run. Instead of berating them for being messy, investigate why they are being messy. Workload issues show up in many different ways.

In journalism it's important to reflect both sides of an argument, to listen, to try and understand nuance and different perspectives, to be aware of your own bias.  But sometimes it's also important to state facts, and to call out facts that are not true https://t.co/tHash2GNps

Life-threatening extreme cold weather in North America at the moment. On Tuesday, temperatures in north-eastern Montana are forecast as low as -40C, with a wind chill that could make it feel like -51C.

Kindness is contagious 💛 and when we extend it to each other and the planet, we create a ripple effect of change. This #RandomActsOfKindnessDay, let’s make small gestures that add up to something big. Because a better world starts with us. One act of kindness at a time.

📣 I say staff well-being matters—but continue to question whether our systems make it possible? There are risks that time off is met with stress, guilt, or extra work for others. Culturally , mutual support should be a given, not a favour.
