To whoever needs to hear it:. Teams are going to spend their whole budgets in the draft. There’s no saving money. You won’t see more than a handful of these guys by the end of 2027 and that’s okay. Everyone is a shortstop or center fielder. Teams don’t draft for need.

@MarshallKelner Problem is that’s counting on a lot of unknowns. Lopez going to be dominant upon his return? Ober completely fixed? Correa going to return to All-Star form of ‘24? Hope isn’t a strategy.

Once again, if your take is “Durán can’t pitch in non-save situationses!!!!” I need you to tell me why good relievers outside of save situations lose the ability to be good relievers after being put in the closer role and you can’t say “Magic”.
