Look at what is being asked of Cucurella & Chalobah. Takes some audacity to blame them for last night. Even more is demanded of Marquinhos though... any decent LW ends last night with a brace and two assists. Konate & Marquinhos are definitely needing therapy when they retire.

PSG scored their 5th in the same way they started the game. •Hakimi extends the pressing distance. •Countermovement to manipulate markers. •Blindside runs for support & combos. Difference: Caicedo dragged deeper allowing Hakimi to play the diagonal. https://t.co/m0nWhu1YjF

Santos would have dropped into CB when the Fofana/Chalobah were dragged out. He would have been in Dembele's spaces. He would have covered inside Gusto. It's not a choice between James & Santos, but between Santos & liability Gusto.

Rosenior has so much damage control to do. He would have lost many players with the Jorgensen selection and tactics. And many more by so obviously showing that he doesn't trust his bench at all. Santos and Garnacho were ideal subs at 70' last night.

Enzo and James could barely move. Chalobah is a superb, durable athlete but his legs were lead. Fofana too.

I can only assume that Rosenior smashed many of these players in a conditioning session on Sunday, seeing as most played no part vs Wrexham. The most leggy, lacking-freshness display all season. Rosenior has constantly spoken about wanting to "run the players".

Reece James' worst game for Chelsea last night. Didn't have a clue. Was pressing high and leaving Dembele free. Never blocked the space inside Gusto. The latter can simply not be trusted in big games, has cost goals time and time again.

PSG are really bad. They were there for a thrashing. Instead, Chelsea threw this away with an embarrassing tactical setup, visibly knackered players (draw your own conclusions), and this joke buildup 'football' - with a goalkeeper who is only good enough to have one Denmark cap.

Reparem apenas no Enzo. Ele estava entre os zagueiros no momento do lançamento longo do Caicedo e apareceu como uma flecha na entrada da área p/ criar uma assistência. Enzo não parece mas desde sempre cobre muito campo por participar da construção inicial e final.
