And that closes the biggest gap between hololens 2 and magic leap one. Great to see these two companies pushing each other. The capture on the magic leap isn't perfect, it offsets the digital overlay. In the headset itself the dots are tracking directly on the hand not offset

One of the big reasons I am fan of @magicleap. We need more of this sentiment in tech today. Ecosystems are killing us. Imagine if the internet were only being invented now. We'd have an Apple internet that is different than the Google internet. You'd have to pick one. Chaos.

Got to spend some quality time with the #HoloLens2 yesterday. An important and truly comfortable device with some exciting features that have some polish ahead of them. It's the #1 holographic computer right now, but #MagicLeap is not as far behind as I initially thought.

Form factor is more important. If they get great field of view and it is still just as bulky, it won't really matter from a consumer perspective. Anyway, Microsoft wanted it to look like they had completely jumped Magic Leap. Turns out ML1 and Hololens 2 are pretty similar...

I integrated a #Mixamo character + animation into #MagicLeap tonight. I'm really liking this cute guy they provide for users. I'm gonna start adding interactions soon. When I wave to him, he will look up and wave back! Building blocks for a much larger demo! #LeapNation
