Theories and studies of risk preferences typically assume that the subjective value of an outcome is independent of its probability. In this paper (in press at Management Science) @andre_quentin and I questioned the validity of this assumption 1/2.

Preparing a lecture on how to review/evaluate a literature, and assigned two Data Colada posts (& . These are such great pedagogical resources. Just another reminder of the immense value Data Colada add to the field.
