I am privileged that BM, a #chemistry PhD student who was intentionally poisoned with thallium, trusted me to tell his story. For over a decade, he has fought to regain the abilities he had before the poisoning. The story just published in @cenmag 1/5

My last image of the international space station brought a lot of "interesting" conversations to the thread say the least. Everything from the moon is a hologram to I'm paid by NASA to fake these images. Here's a short thread about my take on these ideas.

I present many hard years of effort between myself, Sir Woof, the groups of @Piero_Canepa @ZhaoGroupNUS and others. The pitch: Aluminum formate (ALF) adsorbs CO2 really well at elevated temperatures, ignores N2, and is made reeeeeal cheap. Enjoy! https://t.co/q8MJ6eOy7Z

Al(HCOO)3 shows excellent CO2 adsorption and CO2/N2 selectivity, enabling CO2 removal from dried CO2-rich gas streams above 300 K.
