"In 2023, the economy added 3 million jobs. In 2024, still under Biden, it added 2.2 million jobs. In 2025, under Trump, it added just 181,000 jobs. This is a story about an economy getting throttled by one man's capricious, destructive governance." https://t.co/x33KoOZyCt

The reality for blue state Republican candidates in 26 is that Trump has cratered in those places. In 24, he lost MN by 4.2 pts; his net approval there is now -20 in new @StarTribune poll. He lost NYS by 13; in latest @SienaResearch he's -29. VA/NJ 25 showed how much that matters

When I see that the majority of people detained in Maine by ICE are legal residents with no criminal backgrounds, I wonder: What are the criminal records of those masked ICE agents? Is it possible that there are more criminals among the detainers than among the detainees?

Trump always provokes outrage when he descends into overt public racism, as w/the Obama video. But it's Trump's policies inverting federal civil rights enforcement that threatens the greatest l/t racial conflict in an irreversibly diversifying US. My take.

I wouldn’t exhale with today’s job numbers. The job market remains fragile and highly vulnerable. Yes, payroll employment increased by 130,000 in January, but given the big downward revisions to history, there has been no job growth since last April (Liberation Day). Moreover,

Everyone has completely forgotten about it now, of course, but it's actually true that in Trump's first administration, he did this whole "Voting Integrity Commission" chaired by @KrisKobach1787 that quietly shut down after about 2 years and didn't find anything.

Wow. CBO estimates that U.S. consumers bear 95 PERCENT OF THE TRUMP TARIFFS. Basically, foreign firms bear 5% of them, U.S. companies bear 30% of them but other U.S. companies get to raise prices on consumers from less competition so that nets to zero. And consumers pay rest.
