After the Glasgow City TAG Banking Campaign Steering Group raised concerns with me, I asked the government to go further on the accessibility of banking services for disabled people and those with additional support needs. I'm looking forward to carrying on working with them.

We were delighted to see that last night the Lords amendments on eNICs exemptions for social care went through. Well done and to everyone, including many CCPS members who shared evidence and backed the effort! 👏

The whole of Scotland’s #socialcare sector needs an urgent solution to this gap - we will see collapsing care providers and #carehomes closing unless both @GOVUK and @scotgov sort this shortfall. @AnasSarwar @RachelReevesMP @ShonaRobison @neilcgray @COSLA

Like @CCPS, we wrote to Scottish MPs urging them to support the eNIC amendments. So, we share their disappointment that the Bill passed through the @HouseofCommons w/out concessions for the vol sector, particularly orgs like us who deliver vital public services #MoreThanWarmWords
We are deeply disappointed that in yesterday’s @HouseofCommons debate amendments which would have exempted social care providers from the eNICs rise were not passed. Details here: https://t.co/jXQ71FNdoK
