Brussels declaration of Russian lawyers and human rights defenders demands to establish a special international tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine. Honoured to co-author and sign this statement.
26 Russian lawyers, legal scholars, and human rights defenders are joining in a declaration to endorse Zelensky’s proposal to create an int’l tribunal to investigate Russian war crimes, denounce the invasion of Ukraine, and express their readiness to help.

The Tribunal will apply the ICC Statute definition of aggression with "Kampala" leadership requirement for all accomplices. It also appears that aiding and abetting aggression falls outside the tribunal's jurisdiction (unlike the ICC).
