I will miss #BoJackHorseman. So surreal & funny and yet so real & deep in representing human emotions, relations, flaws, and falls. Going through it is almost a spiritual journey that feeds on the life journeys of the many great characters that populate his strange world.

· treat computers as nothing more than fancy conduits to bring people together · never treat information as being real on its own; its only meaning is in its use by people · never believe that software models can represent people Brilliance itself, that is all.

If you a) think that everything that went wrong with the internet was unpredictable and/or b) doubt that Jaron Lanier is one of the great minds of our time, check out this piece from the early 1990s predicting many of our current maladies:

- Fact checking based on flagging and popularity. - No ID = no social media profile. People have to be responsible of what they say. - Reputation: penalise offenders. It can be done, maybe not by companies prioritising revenues over maintaining a civil and democratic society.

To anyone who wants to “ban lying” on social media Please write down a function that takes in a statement and returns whether it is true If you can start with the Riemann Hypothesis that would be amazing
