Today is the 30th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bomb. A couple of years ago @Emmabarnett and I went to Oklahoma for @bbcworldservice and spoke to people who were generous in sharing their remarkable stories. We found a city shaped by tragedy.

Thanks @MishalHusain Was proud to make this series in 2033 with the brilliant @tombateman. Commissioned months before it became so tragically timely by @djoeclarke.

One of the best series of the year. Particularly timely right now but also timeless - takes us back to the way Britain and France ruled, the key decisions, and brings in the historians’ own family stories. By ⁦@tombateman
