An excellent video by @asafzamir. Watch and learn: Why was there a humanitarian crisis in Gaza? Who uses this crisis? How do the leaders of Hamas take money from you, and use it for terrorism and to get rich? And - about the citizens of Gaza who hate Hamas. Share.

This is wild. I didn't know this either PIJ misfires and hits a hospital *PARKING LOT* and the whole world is up in arms raging with NYT headlines An Israeli hospital *IS ACTUALLY HIT* and nobody reports on it The biggest difference? Israel evacuates its frontline hospitals

I literally had no idea an Israeli hospital was Oct hit until yesterday. To say it didn't get 1/1000th of the outrage is quite literally, not an exaggeration. Good on Hamas for launching indiscriminately, so no one can surmise it was "on purpose," am I doing saying this right?

Here's a story for you about how the news industry works. Earlier tonight, the group that invaded Israel, massacred 1000+ people, burned families to death in their homes, took hostages back to Gaza, and recorded it all with GoPros – this group announced that Israel bombed a

In these terrible times, I urge professional societies in psychology to speak up clearly for Israel and to condemn the atrocities committed by Hamas. Your voices matter. Silence is not an option. #StandWithIsrael #HamasisISIS @APA @PsychScience @Psychonomic_Soc @ESCoP_news

5/6 We discovered the gastric network was overestimated before confound regression. Inter-subject test-retest reliability was good for brain & gastric signals alone, but not for gastric-brain synchrony.

4/6 We found that a group of brain regions were found to be synchronized with the EGG signal, after controlling for non-grey matter signals, head motion, and cardiac artifacts. These results were consistent with earlier research.

3/6 Yet, little is known about the reliability of these gastric–brain interactions, their robustness to artifacts like motion, and their generalizability. We studied these aspects in 43 subjects, using electrogastrography (EGG), brain fMRI, and pulse oximetry.

2/6 Our work is built on existing research that shows sensory brain regions display phase synchronization with the stomach's slow myoelectrical rhythm. These findings have wide implications, from feeding behavior to functional gastrointestinal disorders.
