The best choice is let AR start and let him prove he can stay healthy and keep the job. That way if it fails Daniel jones can take over with the new subterranean low expectations. The opposite ruins AR and probably ruins both in Indy. Not to mention Shane in szn firing.

I have no idea where this narrative came from too. DJ is oft injured and wildly I consistent just like AR is, but DJ is also very limited and AR ceiling is unreal! DJ’s best year was painfully mediocre, he isn’t a suitable nfl starter by any means!.
The funniest thing and the Anthony Richardson/ Daniel Jones debate is that Daniel Jones is being painted as a stabilizing presence under center.

Volpe, jazz, and GLJ are the current logjam at infield. I would move any of them out of position, or trade to recoup the cost of getting marte. Sounds like there’s some issues with the Marte and Arizona locker room but try and figure it out for the talent.

I really doubt its going to happen but if they can find deal, the Yankees need to do anything to make this happen. Log jams at infield can’t be the reason marte goes elsewhere. If you’re serious about getting judge Cole and Stanton a ring, this is how you do it.

Goldy 1B and rice C vs LHP then wells C and Rice 1B vs RHP. Can lean towards goldy or wells more if either gets hot but it can’t be at the expense of rice anymore. DH probably stuck between Stanton and judge considering their health, which is fine.
idc if it’s catcher, first base, or DH; Ben Rice needs to be in the lineup everyday.

I mean what mental mistakes did he make today? If anything he had a great approach and showed he can be consistent? He had 2 missed throws were 100% him, but he didn’t put the ball in harms way and made few more great plays with his legs. Agree on overall point but last line 👎🏻.
The stats today are a perfect representation of the QB competition. Jones put up better numbers on paper but anyone with eyes can tell Richardson is a better player/gives us a better chance to win. Mental mistakes costing Richardson better numbers continue to be a theme.

Don’t let his silly insane plays overshadow he was 5/6 on a TD drive where he showed he can be consistent, on time, and accurate. His bringing up the floor without sacrificing the ceiling. If he can stay healthy, this is the year.
