Tyler Warren fullback highlights. I doubt there is anybody playing the position at a more impactful level around the league. The Colts average 6.7 yards per rush with him lined up at fullback this season! First Team All-Pro Fullback

Good call. No need to push him with that elbow injury, especially when the ball is gonna be out of Rivers hand in like 2 seconds anyway
injury report update: T Bernhard Raimann (elbow) has been downgraded to out for #SFvsIND.

Lou Anarumo has been so good for the Colts this year, all his star talent has just barely played. Holding Seattle to 18 points without his top 3 outside corners and DeFo was masterful work
We see a lot of Double Mug over the Center, but defense can do the same thing to a Guard. Here, the Colts are going to read the Guard's turn. The LB that gets the turn will drop into coverage. Boss (Load) alignment by Indianapolis vs. the Seahawks. --

The Colts have been one of the best run defenses since their bye week. Today, I dove into how that is possible without Buckner even playing. Timely run blitzes + great individual effort: https://t.co/SU1VS9pHJq

Traditionally this has been the case, but the Colts are actually the second best run D in the NFL in epa/play since week 12. Biggest drop off has been their pass rush without him

I’ll go into more detail on JTT once the season is over but I think the big thing for him is to continually work on his first step as a pass rusher and commit more to the long arm. He has great length, the long arm can be an incredible go-to rush move to build off of for him

JT Tuimoloau doesn't have much of a pass rush bag right now, but his spin move is pretty fun to watch. After watching all 189 of his defensive snaps, I think he's been successful every time he's tried it this year:

If he would have gone for it on the 4th and 3 with under a minute left, I would have agreed with every bit of how they approached that game. Just a tad too cowardly at the end and it came back to bite them
An AFC exec to @DMRussini on the Colts last week: “It inspired me! Steichen should get a contract extension for simply how he managed that game. The defense played its ass off." More on Rivers' impact, plus an early read on coaching openings: https://t.co/2ibILbr08w

This is so beyond sad. Refs are told to animate their catch calls to give clarity and the minute a ref does that on an actually quality call! (It was not super obvious Kupp had two feet in but they emphasize he did) the conspiracies run amuck and they get clowned for it

Really curious to see what Indy does at OT with Raimann and Smith both out. I think if it were any other QB, I'd probably kick Goncalves out to RT and Travis over to LT, but interior pressure is probably more of a concern with Rivers at QB. Guessing it'll be Tenuta at LT

Philip Rivers faced the same Seattle defense, and he was down both starting offensive tackles and he was playing his first football game in 5 years. He was sacked just once* (It helps when 95% of your play-calls are checkdowns and screens)
Here was the Rams starting OL last night vs Seattle: Left Tackle: UDFA Left Guard: 2nd round pick Center: UDFA Right Guard: 4th round pick Right Tackle: 5th round pick And Matthew Stafford wasn’t sacked once. You don’t need four first-round picks on the OL to protect the QB.

Prepping some offseason videos for the Colts on rookies and I just got sad all over again about the preseason injuries to Justin Walley and Hunter Wohler. Walley in particular looked so good all offseason, man. Cursed season I guess
