#Colts QB Anthony Richardson Sr. (orbital fracture) taking some mental reps, with a cameo from new teammate Philip Rivers. Richardson was the 2023 No. 4 pick. Rivers was the 2004 No. 4 pick. Rivers, 44, was drafted a month before Richardson, 23, celebrated his second birthday.

Seahawks are very good and Rivers will need a game to get accustomed to the NFL again. JSN gonna have a field day vs our banged up secondary and non existent pass rush.

The more I read about Rivers the more I’m talking myself into him stealing us a game or two. At this point, I’ll take an aging future Hall of Famer over any practice squad QB. Get Sauce/D-Buck back and see what can happen the last 3 weeks. Personally not confident about Sunday.
Fun Fact learned in production meetings: Philip Rivers ran the same offense as the Colts for his son Gunnar’s HS team this season. He and Shane Steichen spoke weekly about it, discussing plays and even film. So familiarity with the scheme should be no problem whatsoever.

The Colts worked Philip Rivers out last night—Rivers showed clearly he can still throw the ball (which you'd expect). Rivers has stayed in fighting shape the last few years coaching high school, and working with NFL and college quarterbacks. Indy's mulling things over.
