Thanksgiving Day is always cooking filled for me. Started off at 6 AM with a wok full of poha-murmura chivda. Loaded with peanuts, green chilies, coconut slices, and kadipatta. I do believe I make THE best chivda in the world. Yes, better than even my mom or aajis! 😋

As my civil engineer dad says, the only reason for building concrete roads in India is that concrete roads cost a lot more and thus yield bigger contracts and bigger kickbacks than asphalt roads. Repairing concrete roads also costs more, and thus even more bigger kickbacks.
