Many of us never had a colonial mindset. Ever. And we will not slavishly follow anyone, indigenous or otherwise. What is important is critical thinking, not accepting anyone’s belief system mindlessly. National or international.

In Paris as a student. Sure, people were richer, the infra was better. But at the intellectual level, was not awestruck by anyone purely because they happened to be from a more developed country. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
