You can list without "listing" on
I know 4 people personally in Austin that bought homes because they wanted to make money on Airbnb.
They're all trying to sell now as negative cash flow and property tax increases eat them alive.

Prediction:
All the free consumer education about how expensive it is to buy and sell a home under the traditional, century-old model inspires more people to explore and discover how easy it is to do it themselves and save $25,000+.
Prediction about real estate commissions in light of NAR settlement (just for fun, wild speculation)
Sellers agent commissions go up to 4%
Buyers agents just get the scraps, maybe a flat fee of $5-10k per transaction.
Overall commissions paid barely move, only slightly down.…

We're still very early (~7 weeks in?) but added about 100 listings last week.
That won't solve the inventory problem overnight, but
- making it fast (< 2 minutes)
- easy (we populate your sq ft, home age, automatically)
- low friction (no contract)
to list sure seems to help!
