Everyone who moves to VA from elsewhere experiences a moment in which, upon learning how VA regards reckless driving, they have to re-calibrate reality. 20mph or more above any posted speed limit or anything above 85mph has the real potential of completely upending your life.
@EWErickson I don't like the guy either but 1000 hours for speeding is absurd. I'm forced to take his side on this one.

Amongst the vast and varied depravities social media encourages, “grief policing” has to be one of the most repulsive.
This might be unpopular, but I find it very weird how a widow has stepped into the CEO role, delivered two speeches, one at a stadium memorial (where Charlie’s parents weren’t even present), and is already going on podcasts just two weeks after her husband was assassinated.
