We are a Society with charitable status under OSCR, promoting our beloved Forth & Clyde Canal. Our boats can be hired for charters for schools, parties etc.

Join our Heritage Manager Chris O'Connell at Newington Library, Edinburgh on Thursday 11 May at 2.30pm for a free, retrospective talk on the Union Canal bicentenary celebrations. Chris will be talking for 40 minutes & is happy to take any canal questions afterwards. #canalmagic

Phase 3 of the Forth & Clyde Canal, North Glasgow towpath upgrade will commence on Tuesday 9th May. Fencing has been put in place, this will remain open over the bank holiday weekend so that the towpath can be used. For location details please click below

Heritage Manager, Chris O Connell joined pupils from @saracenprimary on a boat trip from our HQ to #stockingfieldbridge. Pupils got into character wearing a lock keepers cap (1960’s) & the group joined @wemakeitglasgow to make tiles for the bridge art project. @forthnclydecanl
