Yesterday LUCS took part in a flotilla to mark the 25th anniversary of the opening of the M8 Road Bridge (Bridge 21A). Along with other canal societies we met at the M8 bridge for a celebration. The bridge was originally opened on the 7th of May 2000.

Today marks the 50th anniversary of the Linlithgow Union Canal Society. Today we celebrate 50 years of dedicated service the society and its volunteers have provided to the community of Linlithgow and the upkeep of the union canal. Happy Birthday LUCS.
