wishing i could choose my life. i also have loved how we treat d34th, in real life and fiction and have been obsessed with the images of the Abhorsen's in your books, and have made more than one necromancer d&d character who multiclasses in bard so she can carry bells @garthnix

Hi, i wanted to reach out (presuming your website is still up to date) and ask a question as well as say thank you for writing the Old Kingdom series as it filled a hole in my sense of self as a child. i identified with Yrael and Lirael feeling trapped and out of place,@garthnix

also there is no option to manually submit a ticket to your support system. if i had another publishing option that was affordable i would cancel our subscription over the autosave, i work with computers too much to ever thing ONLY autosaving is a positive change @Patreon

please bring back the option to MANUALLY save posts....auto save will skip changes made in the middle of editing. lack of manual save means we dont know those things are missing until refreshing the page which kills sometimes hours of work. 0/10 update.@Patreon

You never know how an audience will react...that way madness lies...all I know is that when I finished typing that monologue my fist shot in the air and I think I woke, like, *all* the dogs....
@straczynski Did you know when writing/filming Severed Dreams that Delenn's entrance and speech to the Earth Force would be one of the most remembered scenes from the series? I still get chills.. "If you value your lives....be somewhere else"

A little bit ago instead of typing Mr. Musk I wrote Mr. M. then considered deleting it because readers might think I was referencing Mr. Morden, then I thought "well now, hang on a minute...."

--try and figure out how we were doing it. We explained: having scripts in advance, being responsible with shooting schedules to avoid forced calls on cast, treating your crew correctly...they just stared at us the way a cat looks at a doorknob.

No, it was cost effective, but I'd been eager to write that story for four years because of what it embodied. We didn't have to do bottle episodes because every year we came in on or under budget without having to do that. The studio execs would regularly come for set tours to--

It's just simple respect. On B5 everybody had a health plan, with rare exceptions we worked 12 hour days, we paid proper salaries, and when the '94 quake hit, we took our carpenters off set construction to shore up the damaged homes of affected cast/crew.
@straczynski As a film industry escapee, this makes me emotional to read. “So folks could have lives” is a simple sentence, and yet so devastatingly rare in this industry

There was no changing of terms...I don't know any other way to say it that I haven't said many times before...no studio will put a show into production unless they own it. There was no option to change the terms. It was take it or no show. It's the way of the business.
@straczynski In the end, do you appreciate WB for producing the show? Or would you change your terms looking back on it? You got to put together a show that changed the world, one that millions of people are grateful for.

Sorry about flopping on the newspaper and ripping it so you were left holding two comically small handfuls of paper like a cartoon dad
