It's just really frustrating and sad. Instead of lifting up the early contributions and work of OGs, they, instead, just jump on the bandwagon of whatever's currently popular and favor "in crowd" people for speaking slots. It's a fucking popularity contest.

They've rejected all my speaking apps, favoring low-value talks like "My mental health journey in crypto" instead of "Here's the story of how NFTs were invented". Recently, they said they'd likely retweet a high-value thread on NFT history from a legit historian... then reneged.

To be clear, VB himself has helped me out multiple times over the years, connecting me with folks, etc. But the EF has been shit. They lost my Devcon 1 talk video and refuse to add an image/stub to the site in its place, letting disinformation fester...
