If working out while traveling is a high priority for you (it should be), selecting hotels with a decent gym must be a priority. Just like you’d check hotels for their location, reviews, price, etc - check the gym situation. Takes a few minutes and can be the difference maker.

When traveling: Choose a hotel with a good gym/find a local gym. Not an option? Use the shitty hotel gym anyway and adapt your training to what’s available. No gym? Bodyweight workouts.

The experience at a hotel is much better when there’s a well-equipped gym. It makes all the difference. @fittesttravel 📍Long Bay Beach Resort, Tortola

A lot of people just starting with lifting/training fail when they’re removed from their home routine. Adapting your routine to traveling is key for keeping positive momentum. Do some recon and pick hotels with decent gyms. Have a go-to workout for no gym/bad gym situations.

This is the starting point for hotel gyms. The bare minimum. Scope out the hotel gym before you book and if it doesn’t have this, choose another hotel.

Always check the gym situation before booking a hotel. If that’s not an option, know how to train with what’s available.
