If you are a #recurrent #miscarriage #infertility or #menopause patient and have started out on the #NHS but want to be seen #privately for a quicker follow up appointment, get in touch. Being seen privately will not affect your position in the #NHS queue.

#HRT shortages continue but there are alternatives and combinations that can be used as advised by the British #menopause Society. Please reach out if you're having trouble obtaining #testosterone or #HRT but avoid unorthodox methods of getting these. https://t.co/JewJjUCG78

Menopause CAN have a massive impact on women's professional lives. Be prepared - but also know you may not be hit hard by the hormones. Everyone is an individual and no two menopauses are the same.

It was a pleasure lecturing on the MSc in Reproductive and Developmental Biology course @sheffielduni on management of #infertility in secondary care. The young scientists were so interested in what is done in clinical care and how medics connect science to treatment.

#babylosshour For patients who have suffered recurrent #miscarriage, have your vitamin D and ferritin checked. It’s a simple blood test and deficiencies easily correctable.

Combined #HRT with #oestrogen plus #progestogen is recommended for any menopausal woman who has a history of #endometriosis even if they have had a hysterectomy. This is to prevent proliferation and potential cancerous change any of residual endometriosis
