This is actually common I work at a venue and some artists will leave the flowers for the venue crew. They get dozens of flowers a night and can’t take them all with them so they give them away rather than having to throw them out

This is why I get annoyed when people get all pissed off when Louis’s monthly listeners drop. Giant rooks was supposed headline a venue less than 1/10th the size of the venue where they will open for louis. Because streams don’t always equal ticket sales.

I know this tweet is old but I’ve just now seen it. The people working backstage are called stagehands and our pay is determined by the venue we work for because they are our employer not the tour. Some tours will tip their hands extra but it’s super rare.
