I wouldn't be so sure. We have the highest % of open play launched passes from GK this season. Regardless of which GK started. This also tracks with Amorim Sporting approach to big games esp in Europe. Going long to front 3 & winning 2nd balls is a big intent of the game model.
I feel like Amorim did this to help Lammens – get the ball up the field and keep it there when possible, then build up to playing more out the back etc Not sure if it’s the right route to do but that’s my sneaky feeling
