One of the biggest propaganda is that Durand Agreement was forced upon Afghanistan by British Empire. On converse, it was Amir Abdul Rehman who wrote to Viceroy for demarcation of formal border, the agreement was inked on Afghan Request and demarcation was done, maps prepared.
Pakistan is left with no option, except to make sure, the Afghan Taliban don't remain in power. If Afghanistan doesn't recognize the Durand line as an international border, what options are left for Pakistan, except to install a regime, which must recognize the existing border.
