had fun building a fake financial market with @extropic’s thermocomputing library thrml, using a modified Ising model (agents buy (+1) / sell (-1) via peer pressure + external hype) to simulate financial bubbles. prelim result: got fat tails and volatility clusters.

Was a pleasure to work with the legendary designers @asimov_co on our new aesthetic and brand
To capture both the rigorous research the team has completed and the alien nature of its products, we implemented a dual-header type system that juxtaposes biomorphic sans-serif forms with an academic-inspired serif. These typefaces stand alone or together based on content and

What evolves together, fits together. Algorithms have gone probabilistic. It is time for the hardware layer to follow.

Looking to start a probabilistic machine learning residency program at Extropic! Would very much appreciate connection to math/stats/physics PhD students/postdocs that would enjoy working on a contrarian approach to large-scale AI.
