The ERC process must allow finalized documents to be withdrawn or superseded as in the RFC process. Right now there’s too much false legitimacy in just being “finalized” for the sake of getting to the end line.

Just to be clear. We will remove _msgSender for OZ Contracts 6.0 but you have to be a bit dumb to claim it “increases gas costs”. Let’s be real. Prove it.

Guys, ERCs are first draft for a reason. You're not supposed to privately draft the draft and then release it when nobody can give you feedback anymore.

The state of L2 interop is that every team is redoing the same work and publishing it with different naming and without reading others' publications. I drafted ERC-7965 in an attempt to point out a common broadcast pattern I've observed. So far I've seen @zksync, @taikoxyz, and.

Confidential smart contracts are coming to production 🔐. We're excited to partner with @zama_fhe to build privacy-preserving standards that bring financial institutions onchain. The first release is live — including a confidential ERC20 implementation:

There's a decently high amount of variants for Accounts that can be built with @OpenZeppelin Contracts and its community version. Now, the Account contracts and main signers are fully audited 💪. I hope this triggers hackathon builders into creating UIs for them 👀.

DKIM is one of those crypto primitives that is already widely used. ERC-7969 defines a very simple specification for DKIM registry contracts.

Email remains the most widely used identity layer online, but verifying it onchain requires better infrastructure. 👨‍💻 We're working with @okx and @OpenZeppelin on a new Ethereum.standard for DKIM Registries to address that: ERC‑7969. Wanna know what this means?👇.

I renamed ERC-7965 to “Cryptographic Proof Broadcast in ERC-7786 Gateways” as I realized that storage proofs are just the standardized representation of state in EVMs. While this includes a wide range of trust providers, it’s been intentional to include all ecosystems since we.

New ERC standard for confidential fungible tokens: pointer-based amounts, time-limited operators, technology-agnostic design. Works with FHE, ZK proofs, or any privacy mechanism while enabling DeFi integration. An open source contribution to the @ConfTokenAssoc by @Arr00c. Come.

Intents are a band-aid, handing control to the deepest pockets with private liquidity. It seems kinda obvious to me while PMs keep using the “capital efficiency” argument over a couple of cents. Message passing is the way in the long run: open, trustless, no middleman nonsense.
